How to Solve 2FA Code Error

Modified on Thu, 24 Oct at 10:25 AM

If you receive a “2FA Code Error” message after you input your 6-digit Google Authentication code, please try the solutions below:

  • The time on your mobile device needs to be synchronised with the Google Authenticator App and synchronised with the time on your computer (from which you are attempting to log in).
For Android:For iOS:
  1. On your Android device, go to the main menu of the Google Authenticator app.
  2. Tap More and then Settings and then Time correction for codes and then Sync now.

  1. Please ensure that you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Turn on Set Automatically in Settings → General → Date & Time. This automatically sets your date and time based on your time zone. If there’s an available time zone update, your device lets you know.
  3. Allow your device to use its current location to determine the correct time zone. To do this, go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services → System Services and select Setting Time Zone.
  4. Check that your device shows the correct time zone in Settings → General → Date & Time → Time Zone.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Use incognito mode on Google Chrome
  • Try to login with the Hata App instead.

If none of the above suggestions are working, try to reset the Google Authenticator. Please refer to "How to Reset Two-Factor Authentication" article under Account Functions section in the FAQ or contact Hata's Customer Support if you require assistance.
