How to Access Your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Modified on Fri, 30 Aug at 10:43 AM

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via your authenticator app is mandatory in order to gain access to Hata's products and services.

An authenticator app, like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator, generates these time-sensitive codes (also known as OTPs, or One-Time Passwords). When you log into an account, after entering your password, you will also be prompted to enter the code generated by the authenticator app on your device.

This additional step significantly enhances security, making it much harder for unauthorized users to access your accounts even if they have your password.

  • You may find your 6-digit code in your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator). This code will change every 60 seconds.

  • You have to enter this 6 digit code before it resets, into your Hata app whenever prompted to do so.

For more information on how you can set up two-factor authentication (2FA), please refer to " How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)" article on Hata's Helpdesk.
