Hata is excited to introduce the Profit and Loss (PnL) feature, designed to help you better understand how your digital asset portfolio is performing over time.
How do I view my PnL?
On Mobile:
If you are logging in via the Hata mobile app, you will immediately be able to view the PnL of your total balance.
From there, you may navigate to your [Wallet] page and view your PnL there.
On Web:
After logging into your Hata account via www.hata.io select [Go to Homepage]

From there, you can view the PnL of your total balance.

If you navigate to your [Wallet] page, you will be able to view your PnL there as well.

How is my PnL calculated?
Please note that Hata’s PnL feature currently displays Today’s PnL only.
Today’s PnL is calculated using the following formula:
Today’s PnL = Current Total Asset Value − Today’s Initial Asset Value − Today’s Net Transfers / Deposits
Here’s what each term means:
Current Total Asset Value
The total value of all your assets based on the latest market prices.Today’s Initial Asset Value
The total value of all your assets based on market prices at a specific point in time at the start of the day.Today’s Net Transfers / Deposits
The net value of any deposits and withdrawals made during the day based on the prevailing market price.
Example of Today’s PnL calculation
Scenario:
You start the day with 1 BTC
BTC price at start of day: RM200,000
BTC price now: RM210,000
You deposit 0.1 BTC during the day (worth RM20,500 now)
Calculation:
Today’s Initial Asset Value: RM200,000
Current Total Asset Value: RM231,000
Today’s Net Transfers / Deposits: RM20,500
Today’s PnL (in Fiat):
RM231,000 − RM200,000 − RM20,500 = +RM10,500
Today’s PnL (in %):
RM10,500 ÷ RM200,000 = +5.25%
