- Login to your Hata Account and click [Profile] - [Security] - [Two-Factor Authentication].
- If you are using an Apple device, select [Install from App Store]. If you are using an Android device, select [Install from Play Store].
- You will be redirected to another page where you can install the Authenticator app. After you have installed the app, you can click [Next] to continue.
- You will now see a QR code and a setup key on your screen.
- Open the Authenticator App and tap on the [+] button on the bottom right of your screen to scan the QR code. Then click [Next]. If you are unable to scan it, you can manually enter the setup key.
- Select [I’ve done this]. Input the 6-digit 2FA code you see on your Authenticator app.
- Congratulations! You have successfully set up your 2FA Authentication!

- What can I do if it shows binding failed?
- Ensure that you have installed the Authenticator App.
- Ensure that the time is synchronized between your mobile device and computer.
- Ensure that the password and 2FA code you have entered is correct.
- Ensure that the date and time settings on your mobile device are set to “automatic”.
- I have lost access to my previous Authenticator App. How can I re-enable it?
- If you have the 16-digit backup code generated when you first set up the Authenticator app, you may enter that code into the Authenticator app and recover your account.
- If you have not saved your 16-digit backup code and wish to reset your Authentication, please refer to [How to Reset Authentication].
- What do I do if it shows a 2FA error?
- The time on your mobile device needs to be synchronized with the Authenticator App and synchronized with the time on your computer (from which you are attempting to log in).
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Use incognito mode on your browser.
- Try to login with the Hata App instead.
If none of the above suggestions are working, try to reset the Authenticator app. Please refer to "How to Reset Two-Factor Authentication on Hata" under Account Functions section in the FAQ.
