Why Did My Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Verification Fail?

Modified on Tue, 30 Apr at 3:28 PM

The reason why your Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification may have failed could be due to the failure of complying with Hata’s Terms and Conditions. Listed below are some of our Terms and Conditions:

  1. Country/Region Restrictions

You have been detected by our system that you are currently residing in another country that is not supported for service by Hata. To find out which countries are supported on Hata, please refer to our article of Hata Supported Countries: Where Is it Not Available?

  1. Multiple Submissions of Invalid Documents

If you have submitted invalid documents and have been prompted to resubmit, the system may deny your account verification should it fail to verify your documents after multiple attempts.

  1. Multiple Accounts with Same Documents

Our system has detected that another verified Hata account has been registered with the same ID documents. Please take note that Hata only allows for one individual to possess one verified account. If you think that you are being impersonated, please contact our Hata’s Customer Support team here.

  1. Below 18 Years Old

If you do not meet Hata’s age requirements, our system will prevent you from creating an account on Hata. To comply with Hata’s Terms of Use, you must be 18 years of age or over to create an account and perform transactions on our platform.

  1. Other Compliance Reasons

At Hata, we prioritise strict adherence to regulatory standards to ensure the integrity of our platform. As such, our compliance team reserves the right to reject a registering user’s (KYC) submissions at their discretion, in alignment with our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

If you believe that there has been a mistake during your KYC verification process, please contact
Hata’s Customer Support team by submitting a ticket. A representative will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.

Note.
Hata has partnered with Sumsub, a leading identity verification provider for our KYC processes. Through this collaboration, we ensure robust compliance measures while safeguarding user data. Please be assured that all information shared with Sumsub is treated with the highest confidentiality standards.
